Hello Folks,Just thought I would drop a quick line on the current presidential situation. The Florida and Michigan Dems are crying chicken to the DNC that they want their votes counted for the DNC convention in Denver. However both of these cry-baby states moved their primariers up this year to “get some of the action”. Well nobody cared aobut them back in Januray cause the DNC outlawed their votes back last fall. So know these states are crying chicken cause now they suddenly might have all this power. Ridiculous. they are acting like little chicken. And the thing that is suprising me is that the news media doesn’t really point out the right facts. The florida and michigan dems just want ATTENTION. They are pridefull. They want some publicity, some free CNN shots. ahh it just makes me sick. anyway hope you all feel as strongly about this as I do. see yah

Well hello to all. The New York Giants won the super bowl tonight. Wow what an exciting game. And especially Eli Manning’s 2nd to last snap when he almost got sacked then recovered then threw for a 30+gain. Man that was awesome. In my opinion the play of the game. And Peyton won it last year and now Eli. Man it runs in the family. Amazing. If they had any other brothers they would be drafted tomorrow And folks Super tuesday is just about on us. The candidates are spreading the green stuff now on the tv ads. They are spending an insane amount of $$ to show themselves to people. Tuesday will in my opinion probably show us who will be the candidate for each party. If at the very least one of the 2 candidates for each side will be quite a bit ahead of the other. But thats why the primary season is so long. Its just to see how much money they can raise and spend And to end this post with a sad note. Glorias sick. no fun at all. And she got it from me Hope you feel better love.

Wow this past week was really great. SQL class on tuesday was fantastic. And then C# class on Thursday was equally as good. Its going to be a really great Semester. And I have gotten a new job. A tech atfedex going around installing little and big cafe systems for their clients. Its looking to be a lot of fun. Then this past weekend was Glorias birthday. That was alot of fun. we all went out to a fancy steakhouse and dressed up. And wow-eeie Gloria looked like a million bucks. I felt like the luckiets man their I shall have to see if I can steal some of the pictures from her mom and put them up here. Then in about 1 week its going to be primary time here in AZ. Man what a day. The field isn’t looking to great people. Also Fred Thomson got out of the race this past week so their is one less guy now. And as for Mr. Ron Paul? hmm hes a bit of a right wing nut. Talking of abolishing certain depts of the gov and different things like that. I appreciate his passion however he just has no hope of winning. Not enough votes. And he literally is crazy with some of his ideas. But anyway to each their own. Politics is a crazy game. One last thought to chew on before I go. Why is it that politicians promise the sky to these stupid people that go to these campaign rallies? When most of America knows they might get one major issue passed while they are in office. However people still eat up this propaganda junk at the rallies like they have never heard it before. The Democrats want to give more money to the poor and needy and anyone else who wants it. And then you have the republicans on the other hand who believe in National Defense and whatnot but have to tread lightly around the subjects since they are related to President Bush and his approval rating is so low they don’t even measure it anymore. Well bed is calling my fellow Americans. Good night to all and have a great week.

Well this new yr has really turned out with a bang. My database and C# class’s is going to be a lot of fun. I can feel it already. Even though the db class is technically oracle the teacher said 11 out of the 12 chapters are on T-SQL syntax. So I should be good to go with transferring that knowlegde to mysql or mssql. My first C# class was on thursday night. Man when I got home I just wanted to start coding then and their. But their is a time and place for everything. I stopped by one of my friends houses on the way home and he was trying to setup debian with samba. Poor guy. So I recommended to him that we install ubuntu snce I’m familar with it(yes I know ubuntu is based on debian but I like the more regular releases) anyway I told him I would set him up with a webdav server. And I did. It only took me less than 48hrs and now he has a webdav server. Which is great because they run windows and macs so he can use both. Plus I punched a hole through his linksys and set him up with a dynamic updating service so that they can get to this box from anywhere on the internet. All in all I’m just a little proud of my box. amazing how easy it is in linux. As for regular life. Its going great. things with Gloria are going really really good. She is really a great girl. And things at church are going really well. We shall be starting Easter musical practice this coming Sunday. Also I will be putting in a fileserver for our church probably this week too. we are going to try to use a software raid5 with linux. So its going to be a lot of fun. P.S. Plus this week at work I built my own spam/av filtering appliance(used a base image but upgraded and configured a bunch of packages myself). However the big thing is that its FreeBSD. Yes boys I took the plunge to *BSD land. And I LIKE it. Ports is awesome. Almost like gentoo just without the conf and emerge headaches.Well bed is calling. I know this was a long post but its going to be a good year. I can feel it.P.P.S. McCain won SC and Hillary won Nevada. WOW the field this yr just ain’t that great boys. Its all about how much do you want to comprimise on your beliefs? Do you value life of an unborn baby more than an immigrant? more than a terrorist? what big questions we have folks.

Well today is the day of he Iowa Caucus. The day 150,000 have the ability to impact the rest of the nation. Some might call it a sham because that small amount of people have the ability to impact the whole nation. But we shall see what happens. Right now the dems and the reps are tied neck and neck and the 3 big dem players are all tied(Edwards, obama, Clinton) and the reps are tied(Romney, Huckabee). But is amazing is that the surge that these players will get will affect New Hampshire that is only in 5 days. Which is the shortest amount of days between the 2 states in the whole caucus’s history.

Well I saw this the other day and thought it was really interesting. Basically in it Bob Jones lll and his son(current president of BJU) are saying that they are going to endorse Mitt Romney as President. Link here

That just really bugs me. He is a professing Mormon. I never thought that this would happen to BJU. I understand their background in picking him. However I don’t believe that hes our only hope like they claim. Its just a sad shame when a extremely looked upto college form the Bapitist/ Religious right go out and outright endorse him.

However in the colleges defense I did recieve an email from them saying that the oponion of these 2 men in no way reflects the stance of the college. However I don’t really buy that. After all the hot water that BJU got into at the 2000 elections their i no way that these 2 powerfull men just called up the newspaper and told them. I’m sure that they consulted the board and maybe even their attorneys.

However the most sad point in this whole matter is not the endorsement. the sad point is that the Fundamental Independent Bible Believing Baptist has no good candidate to vote for. Just goes to show you the times that we are living in. Well I better get off the soapbox now before I get myself in trouble
