It allows Pastor Juan to add, edit and delete blog posting all by himself.  Sort of a mini CMS that I made for him.  (As a side plug.  Visit my web-design site for more info on custom php/db websites)

Basically in it Bob Jones lll and his son(current president of BJU) are saying that they are going to endorse Mitt Romney as President. Link here

That just really bugs me. He is a professing Mormon. I never thought that this would happen to BJU. I understand their background in picking him. However I don’t believe that hes our only hope like they claim. Its just a sad shame when a extremely looked upto college form the Bapitist/ Religious right go out and outright endorse him.

However in the colleges defense I did recieve an email from them saying that the oponion of these 2 men in no way reflects the stance of the college. However I don’t really buy that. After all the hot water that BJU got into at the 2000 elections their i no way that these 2 powerfull men just called up the newspaper and told them. I’m sure that they consulted the board and maybe even their attorneys.

However the most sad point in this whole matter is not the endorsement. the sad point is that the Fundamental Independent Bible Believing Baptist has no good candidate to vote for. Just goes to show you the times that we are living in. Well I better get off the soapbox now before I get myself in trouble :)

It was a long and hard week. Yet very fulfilling. Outreach just went incredibyl well. I believe that God truly moved in our church. I know he increased my burden and my giving towards missions.
And tomorrow is faith-promise sunday. What we decide to give each week above and beyond our tithe to support missionarys in our church. So tomorrows is a big day in our church as it determines how many missionarys we can support in our church by faith for th year. Well off to bed.

First off Pastor Haynes preached this just soul-gripping sermon on soulwinning. I mean wow was it heart-wrenching and to the point. Then It was time for the special presentation. Pastor Brian and his family starting their own church in Cali. Wow their was hardly a dry eye in the building after their presentation was over. What a remakable young family willing to trust God and be obedient to his call and start a church. What a testimony that is to his parents. Wow the highest honor for a parent to have their kid start a church and be a church planter.

Still in Shock from all of it but I know Pastor Brian will be an awesome Pastor when they go out their in May. And they are going to have a whole church full of people here praying for them. So we shall see what happens in this exciting new development for our church.

And then in other related news. We are going over Gloria’s for thanksgiving. Its going to be a lot of fun :) Plus Tom will be home from college so we can get some guy time in. Well off to bed as its late and we have church tomorrow night too.

Other than that this week has been extremely boring. Nice and long.  I did finish the church calendar though.  Whenever we get the new hosting up(hopefully tomorrow) then we will put the new calendar on.  Its totally database driven and the administration page could be run by the church secratary.  So less work for me.

And now I’m working on the sermon uploading page.  That should be interesting.  I’m looking into using some ajax/php scripts to make uploading easier. Because again I can’t be the only one doing this.  So I’m going to make it as easy as possible.  Hopefully I will finish it this week and then I can concentrate on my dad’s website.  Prudent Investments LLC.  that should be interesting.  I will be using my CMS for that one.

But I’m going to have to figure out how to make differnet links and make them SEO.  Like the following for example.
the link is index.php?cat=1&id=1
Well I have to develop a system  to change the link to the following
index.php/main/homepage

Maybe I’m just dreaming but I think it can be accomplshied.  Anyway I got to run and go to bed.  good night all.
